ComScore says that the first-quarter total for Black Ops: Black Gold surpassed the previous record of 4.1 million in 2015.
ComScore says the Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 1 multiplayer maps sold more in the second half of the year than any other single month.
Black ops: Black gold has a total of 9.8 million players, with about a quarter of them playing Black Ops, according the developer’s official website.
Players can now download Black Ops for free on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Mac, as well as Windows.
The first patch will be released later this week for Xbox One and Windows, and will be free for all.
It will be available on Steam on September 22.
A new feature called the Call of DUTY game mode is available in the Black ops 3 beta, which will let players select the best playstyle for each mission, as the developer explains on its website:In this mode, players will choose their preferred playstyle and then play each mission individually or group of missions.
The only requirement is that the players have the highest rank in the leaderboards.
The new Call-of-DUTY mode is also available for free, with Black Ops players being able to play multiplayer games with other players.
